Pillow Talk

Fair warning, the following isn’t quite so scandalous as the title may suggest. Exciting, none the less, at least to me and a select handful of others (male friends: probably not so much).

I’m a big advocate for reinventing pieces with potential and I finally have my first project completed to share.

My couch, upon delivery, was accompanied by matching taupe, ticking stripe pillows and though I loved that fabric as a neutral base, I think pillows can serve us much better with pop & pattern. When I stumbled across a Brunschwig & Fils large scale damask fabric, I fell in love with the bold, elegant pattern and punchy coloring.  So instead of buying new pillows, I used the plush fabric to recover and refresh the formerly lackluster  fluff.

Though my camera phone hardly does it justice, I couldn’t delay unveiling the before and after. What do you think?
